RACE CANCELLATION***

Sorry to say that tonights race is not going to go ahead.

Despite the thinking that weather is to improve, I have been through many weather forecast sites and concluded that conditions near the coast are going to get worse, with mist/fog now forecast for late afternoon.

I’ve been to check the course and current condition are barely safe, visibility is poor at best.
Due to the wide group of racers geographically involved I am making the decision to cancel tonight’s event, giving good notice for all clubs to contact their riders about the decision.

Safety is the only consideration being used in this decision, I am sorry we’ve had to do this but it is in my opinion the sensible decision to make given the current and forecast conditions.
